As in all traditional riads, the architecture revolves around the patio, a central space designed to provide privacy and coolness.
This enclosed square layout, typical of Moroccan homes, creates a natural microclimate and encourages airflow.
Open to the sky, it lets in light through a central shaft.
A place of calm and serenity, the patio invites you to slow down: read, enjoy a cup of tea, or simply soak in the tranquility.
Sheltered from the wind and the bustle of the medina, it becomes a suspended space, perfect for rest, contemplation, and reconnection.
Located on the rooftop, the riad’s terrace offers an open-air space typical of traditional Moroccan architecture.
It’s the perfect spot to soak up the sun, relax after a day of sightseeing, or simply admire the changing light over the medina’s rooftops.
A calm and open space, designed to enjoy every moment at your own pace.
When we discovered this riad, it was little more than a ruin.
It took over five years of patient work to bring it back to life, respecting its original architecture and traditional Moroccan craftsmanship.
Every element was carefully restored or recreated in collaboration with local artisans: stone arches, tadelakt walls, and carved woodwork.
Today, the riad combines historic charm with modern comfort, while preserving the soul of medina houses.
